Just cut the poor thing down. I know it’s only the angle, but it looks like it’s in the middle of the road.

I was pretty horrified when I drove down an evergreen lined road where the power company had cut the tops off of every evergreen tree. Topping evergreen trees like that is pretty much the kiss of death for evergreens.

Always HATED the way they’ve done this….
No regard for the tree at all…. I get it. You got a lot to get to. But to butcher them like this is unforgivable…..
Not only is it an eyesore but it harms the plant deeply. Sometimes to the point where you make a future hazard; and it is better cutting the whole damn thing down to begin with, rather than keeping it.
Poor tree. Fuck people. Sorry but not sorry
Edit: And before anyone says it, no, I’m not some hippie or some kind of tree hugger or anything. I’m literally just a dude who has seen this happen a lot and is very tired of the end result.

No no no, you wanna know where they *really* do this sort of thing in an interesting way?
My sister lives in Metarie, Louisiana, and on her street, there are chunks of tree limbs weaved into the power lines, because it was easier to cut the rest off than to get that out.

We had a power company cut trees down a road I frequently travel and they butchered those trees. They have been there since I was a kid, 40+ years ago… I would have been pissed if I was the owner but on the other hand, as the owner, they should have trimmed them beforehand.
